This unique spot is so much more than a coffee shop—it is also a veritable Aladdin’s cave of junk, trinkets and treasures, which surround you as you smoke and even spill out onto the street. All the items—from African masks to China dolls to lights and rugs—can be bought, or merely admired.

When you enter, you can get your hash, weed and drinks at the bar, where you can also sit and talk with the friendly staff. Alternatively, you can walk up a few steps and sit down at a table, or walk up a further small flight of stairs to ooh and aah at even more knick-knacks.

The place is fairly small, and the simple wooden seats and bar stools are not the most pleasant in the world, but these small discomforts are more than made up for by the sheer wonder and quirkiness of this one-of-a-kind coffee shop. Truly one of those awesome, special experiences that you could only find in Amsterdam.
